Quick and creamy chicken stew i have been wanting to make a nice stew for a while now, but stews usually cook for a long time and need some thinking ahead to have the food ready at the right time. also, now that summer is on the horizon, my objective is to spend the least amount of time in the kitchen.. Juicy chicken, perfectly balanced flavor, and overall an amazing recipe. i used chicken breast still on the bone and served over brown rice and it was so tasty – can’t wait for leftovers! also, if served over rice, this recipe definitely makes more than just 6 servings – so it’s a win-win.. Luckily, i had some pre-cooked chicken breasts, and this paleo and whole30 chicken stew came to life in a jiffy! this is such a quick and easy stew to make, it’s so tasty you’d never know it only calls for six ingredients (plus a little salt and pepper)!.
This hearty stew is the ideal dish for a lazy weekend dinner. once it starts cooking, you can just let it simmer all afternoon. chicken is browned and then slowly simmered in a tomato sauce flavored by indian spices.we served it for dinner alongside the paleo version of naan and cauliflower rice.. This particular recipe calls for chicken pieces. what you do with that is entirely up to you, though we do suggest slow cooking a combination of legs and thighs, with the skin on. while most traditional african chicken stew recipes would call out for peanut butter, 1/2 a cup or more, you can skip that part since it is a non-paleo ingredient.. I am really excited to be sharing this cream turmeric chicken stew recipe over on empowered sustenance. i have been following lauren for years so it is quite an honor to be guest posting today..
